  • Hundru Falls
    Height ~ 98 m, one of the highest waterfalls in Jharkhand. The water of the Subarnarekha River falls here with a roaring sound.

  • Sita Falls
    A hidden gem ~ 40 km from Ranchi. Waterfall flows through dense forest โ€“ very peaceful.

  • Tagore Hill (Tigore Hill)
    Height ~ 300 ft. Rabindranath Tagore spent time here writing poems. Peaceful place, also used for trekking.

  • Rock Garden
    Developed from Gonda Hill. Features stone sculptures, hanging bridge, and a view of Kanke Dam.

  • Jagannath Temple
    Built in 1691, similar to Puriโ€™s Jagannath temple. Annual Rath Yatra is a major attraction.

  • Sun Temple
    Built in the shape of a giant chariot with 18 wheels & 7 horses. Surrounded by ponds.

  • Dewri Mandir
    700-year-old temple of Goddess Durga (called Dewri Maa). Specialty โ€“ 16-armed idol, and priests here are both tribal & Brahmin โ€“ a rare tradition.
